Did you know that Windsor-Essex County is full of fantastic events for you and your family and friends to take part in? Many of them are FREE! Here’s what’s going on around Windsor & Essex County this Halloween weekend!

Event: Windsors Biggest Halloween Experience – Now In 3D!
Date/Time: Oct. 28, 29, 30 – 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm

The only place where you can first buy a costume and a prop or two at the Party Warehouse, then go through Windsor’s biggest Haunted Attraction. From 16 foot monsters, moving rooms to things that jump in the night, this is one haunted house everyone will enjoy.

$8.00 for adults and $6.00 for kids 14 years and under.

Located at the old Jerome Taylor Building.

Event: Xtreme DanceWorks Performing Arts Academy Halloween Party

Event: “Take Back the Night” Dieppe Gardens
Date/Time: Oct. 29 8pm

The Women’s Studies classes at the University of Windsor are holding a “Take Back the Night” event.
They would like support from all women as this is really about women as a whole. The students would like Red Hatters to join in the event. There will be a guest speaker and a march complete with cheerleaders. Come out and show support for the safety of all women.

Event: Sin By Silence – Free Documentary Screening
Date/Time: Oct. 29 at 6pm

The Well-Come Centre for Human Potential will be showing the documentary film, Sin By Silence on at Milk Coffee Bar Downtown. Admission is free, though donations to the Well-Come Centre to assist in covering costs are greatly appreciated. Sin by Silence has a message to be shared regarding hope, sisterhood, and the far reaching impact of domestic violence.

Shuttle service for “Take Back the Night” (event listed above) has been kind enough to begin early, at 5:30pm and will pick up at Vanier Hall at U of W and drop off downtown, allowing anyone interested to come downtown, see the documentary, and make the short trip from Milk Coffee Bar to Dieppe Park to participate in TBTN events as well.

Event: Crime Stoppers Halloween Party

Halloween Party at the Windsor Armouries to support the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918). Monies raised will go towards the Community, National and International projects.

Event: The Harrow Halloween Fest
Date/Time: Oct. 30, 31 – 10 am to 4 pm

Participating businesses will be hosting special events. Sponsored by Harrow and Colchester South Chamber of Commerce.

Oct. 31: Fall Monster Crawl Family Luncheon and Activities

Bring the kids in their costumes on Halloween afternoon (Sunday, October 31st from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m). Visit participating retailers for some spooktacular treats!

Bring the kids out in their costume to “Trick or Treat” for little treasures at the little town buildings (stickers, erasers, etc).
